Shlohmo | Gilles Peterson Mix
Absolutely beautiful mix from the one and only Henry Laufer AKA Shlohmo, but to be honest I wouldn’t expect anything less ! The L.A native never fails to produce mind-blowing, original music, whether it’s a remix of Drake’s Marvin’s Room or a track of his own such as the psychedelic Teeth.
This mix was recorded last year for Gilles Peterson’s then BBC Radio 1 show, and is a perfect example of Shlohmo’s skills in putting together Ambient House with Hip Hop, and showcases his own unique, genre-less style. It is one of the best pieces of music I’ve heard this year and I expect a lot more great things to come from this super talented artist.
