Jessie Ware is unstoppable right now. This song is just so perfect. It simultaneously evokes opposing emotions to the backdrop of a drumline that feels like you’re right in the middle of something epic.
The visuals are all they need to be; simplistic yet captivating and completely allowing the lyrics to express what they need to.
I haven’t anticipated an artist’s debut album this much for a long time (with the exception of Lianne La Havas) and if the past three releases are a reflection of the record as a whole, then it should be something pretty special.
We caught up with the lovely lady after her incredible performance at Parklife Festival a few weeks, so look out for the video later this week.
