“Ideal is a male singer, host, presenter and author from Manchester. He’s been singing for around 7-8years has had a few licensed and released tracks with Ministry of Sound, Warner, etc.
He has a unique sound, fusing raspy soulful vibes with a new school twist; his voice expresses his passion humour and pain. He’s an old school storyteller, as demonstrated by the songs he writes and the book/s he’s soon to present. Welcome to an Ideal world, more than just music, it’s a lifestyle.”

Life experiences and my observations of society

Silly question, Manchester United, lol
What do you love and hate most about the city?
I love the booming talent, but hate the lack of unity and egos.
What’s your definition of good music?
Music that edifies the soul, makes your spirit have a reaction, negative or positive, music that creates a reaction/response within you & tells a story, but leads to an overall positive response within you.

Which is your favourite club in Manchester?
I don’t really get involved with the club scene anymore, but I’d say wherever Warehouse project are doing there thing, then that’s my favourite club

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be, and why?
Jazmine Sullivan because I love how she writes, the huskiness to her voice and her whole aura on a track. Still love In Love with Another Man
iPhone or Blackberry?
Death to the pair of ‘em I have neither, so team HTC thank you! Failing that, iPhone it is, because these Blackberry’s always seem to have some issue

One thing you would like to do before you die?
Leave my imprint and a legacy that people will cherish for life and pass on
In the next five years what you would like to achieve?
A tangible fulfillment of the above point & to have established my business & music career
What is Ideal upto at the moment?
I’m currently waiting on the mix & master of my up and coming mixtape, #TheBS Relationship Issue which is also the name of a book I’m finalising, that follows the same theme. Also working on some more visuals to promote Relationship Issues; videos freestyles, and more gigs.
Where does Ideal live?
Manchester, I know you know this, and you wanted a more specfic location, but that’s the best I can do for you I’m afraid, lol.
